If you’ve ever tried to manage project emails in Outlook, you know how quickly things can get messy. Important emails and attachments get buried in your inbox, and finding them later can be frustrating.
With New harmon.ie, you can save emails and attachments directly to SharePoint, Teams, or OneDrive, so everything related to a project stays in one place. Let’s take a quick look at how it works.
To open New harmon.ie, select an email, click Apps in Outlook’s or the email message ribbon, then select New harmon.ie. It’s recommended to pin the sidebar, so it’s always available.
Now, simply drag and drop an email onto the SharePoint, Teams, or OneDrive location where you’d like to save it.
The email is saved instantly and automatically categorized in your inbox, so you can easily see which emails were saved, where they were saved, or filter your inbox to show only saved emails.
Similarly, you can drag and drop an attachment to save it in Microsoft 365.
To save multiple emails or multiple attachments, hover over the location and click the “Save email” action. It allows you to choose which attachments to save, or save only the attachments without the email.
To view the uploaded files, double-click the location name. This shows a detailed view of the location.
Select harmon.ie’s Email view to see only the emails saved to this location. The email headers saved as file properties create an inbox-like view inside SharePoint or Teams, making it easy to find the exact email you need.
